Job Title: Security Officer

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, observant, and detail-oriented Security Officer to oversee the safety and security of our box truck fleet and facilities. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of verifiable experience in the security field and a strong understanding of access control, surveillance monitoring, and incident reporting.

This role is critical to ensuring the protection of company assets, regulating access to the premises, and maintaining order within our transportation yard and facility.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role
  
  

• High school diploma or GED; security certifications (e.g., Guard Card) preferred
  
  

• Proven ability to manage access logs, surveillance systems, and patrol duties
  
  

• Strong communication and observation skills
  
  

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies
  
  

• Physically fit for patrol and extended periods of standing or walking
  
  

• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
  
  

• Familiarity with the transportation, logistics, or trucking industry is a plus
  
  

Responsibilities

• Fleet Protection: Monitor and safeguard the fleet of box trucks during and after operating hours to prevent theft, damage, or unauthorized use.
  
  

• Access Control: Maintain and enforce secure entry/exit procedures for all personnel and visitors to the premises.
  
  

• Key Management: Distribute and collect truck keys at the start and end of shifts, ensuring accurate tracking and secure storage.
  
  

• Log Book Maintenance: Record detailed entries of all individuals, vehicles, and activities on-site, including deliveries, driver check-ins, and unusual occurrences.
  
  

• Surveillance Monitoring: Monitor security cameras in real-time and conduct routine reviews of footage for suspicious activity or incidents.
  
  

• Incident Reporting: Prepare and submit timely reports for any suspicious behavior, security breaches, or maintenance issues.
  
  

• Patrol Duties: Conduct routine patrols of the lot, perimeter, and building to ensure all areas remain secure.
  
  

• Emergency Response: Act as the first responder to on-site emergencies, coordinate with law enforcement if needed, and document all related events.
  
  

• Compliance Support: Ensure all security protocols are followed and suggest improvements for operational safety.

Schedule

• Shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays depending on operational needs
  
  

• Flexibility is preferred as the role may include rotating schedules or extended hours
